This work is an intensely personal project, an expression of love from the artist to her friends, associates and the world they inhabit. Timna has been painting her friends and colleagues from the worlds of Art, Design, Fashion, Music and Literature.

This will culminate in an Installation reveal where the sitters will be invited alongside their portraits and so provoke a conversation between those who know, and yet do not know each other. “emerging after a long period of social isolation following a life threatening illness, I embarked on this journey of joy in observing and painting the human condition.The individuality, faces, identities, feelings, experiences. This has helped me relish relationships, people and come back into society by looking closely at the extraordinary nature of individuality”
